This wasn’t a bad kitchen ~ the homeowners just wanted to warm it up with real wood and eliminate the visual distraction of the hinges showing. So that’s just what we did! We replaced all the drawers and drawer fronts with real Maple wood with square raised panels using one of our favorite stains ~ Burnt Sugar. We swapped out the Formica counter top for a beautiful slab of granite, then finished off the side of the island exposed to the dining area with matching stained bead board accent panels. The result? A rich and rewarding update for the family.
