    Goodbye 1960!

This kitchen is a style that was dated even when some of the oldest of us were young, featuring the mix of painted white cabinet faces with wood doors and the oh-so-common scalloped edges. Even their 70’s laminate butcher block counter updates didn’t help much. No wonder they were so anxious for our help!

We replaced the facia of their cabinets with real wood laminate to match the new real wood doors and drawer fronts we created for them in beautiful, clean Maple. The raised panel arch on the uppers with the square panels on the lower cabinet doors offers variation in style.

We were also able to create more storage by building a hutch to showcase their glass wear and collectibles, paired with a base cabinet that matched their kitchen, adding a nice touch for this transition space.
